Beautiful property. Conveniently located. The staff were polite and we even received a balcony‑facing room.

Excellent location, right near the lake and the hub of Kandy. The staff were absolutely lovely and provided some of the best service we received during our 3‑week holiday in Sri Lanka. The hotel has a charming old‑world feel, our room even had a small balcony to watch the world go by, and the pool area was really nice. We will book back into Hotel Casamara next time we visit – we loved everything about it.

Worth the money. The property was built preserving its history. The elevator ride was fun! The view from the room balcony was beautiful – the bustling streets of Kandy. We had an issue with hot water, but the hotel staff fixed it for us. It took a good minute.

Parking and the security staff were a real hassle; they didn't bother arranging parking for guests checking in, which was frustrating.
