Sanddorn Kur und Ferienhotel

The location near the beach and the center was great, and breakfast at the brother hotel was good. The hotel was noisy from neighbors, and there were sounds from sanitary equipment. The bed was not relaxing, the interior was not relaxing. There was no breakfast before 8:00 am, and we had to go to a partner hotel 6 min away to get the key.

“Wir haben uns im Sanddorn Hotel wohl gefühlt”

The location is perfect, a bit secluded but right on the promenade, so very quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. We booked a room with a balcony, giving us a direct view over the dunes onto the Baltic Sea. There was even a beach opening right in front of the hotel. We really liked staying at the Sanddorn Hotel and can recommend it outright. Because we arrived after 4 pm, the reception was already closed, so we had to check in at the neighboring hotel after calling it. A heads‑up for future guests that the neighboring hotel is 50 m west would be helpful; now that we know, everything is fine.

“Miserables Hotel”

The hotel's location was fine. 1. No staff after the afternoon; we were told in advance that if we arrived after 18:00 there would be no staff. The key had to be collected at a neighboring hotel 400 m away. We arrived at 17:00, but everything was locked. 2. Parking was a catastrophe. 3. No smoke detector, no phone, no toilet paper, but a lot of dust and a sanitary pad under my nightstand. Stains on the chairs. The outlet on my bed was just an empty shell. The bed lamp didn't work. No ceiling light, only a floor lamp that had to be plugged in by yourself. It was supposed to be a suite for €1400 a week. After my complaints, I was told they had sent me the wrong pictures. 4. Breakfast: when a guest left the breakfast table, the staff would take the hot pot (coffee) and just dump the opened pots together. No scrambled eggs, fruit, and the sausage slices were cut so small. In short, after 3 days (6 days were booked) we left the hotel. I could write more, but if someone books, they'll find out for themselves. No recommendation.

Good breakfast, good location. Additional parking fees, the house is old, and the balcony is very worn.

“Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, Genuss mit allen Sinnen!”

The sea view from both the room and the very cozy breakfast room was sensational. In the breakfast room you felt like in a living room, and the breakfast was very good, plentiful, varied, and lovingly prepared. Candles were even on the tables, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The room was practical, clean, and comfortably furnished; the beds were very good and wide. The furnishings are a bit dated but that gives it some charm. The wardrobe in the room lacked shelves for hanging clothes. The windows between the panes needed cleaning; you only see the dust when the windows are open.
