The accommodation is very well‑equipped and comfortable, set in nature and total quiet, making it a superb base for exploring the mountains. Everything was spotless—the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living room—and the beds were comfortable while the rooms were spacious. When we opened the windows in the morning we only heard birdsong. The lounge had a pool table and, although the outdoor pool was out of season and unusable, there was a barbecue area and an indoor fireplace. The host even left firewood for us, and we’re grateful they allowed ten people to stay. On the downside, the host gave us confusing information that caused some tension among the group, and we didn’t like having to take our trash to the town’s container despite several bins on the property; a sign makes it clear we must do that, so they should arrange a bin at the entrance. Some small rules felt restrictive and disrupted our relaxation, and the contract is packed with conditions. We’re responsible adults, but not every group is the same.
