The mountains right outside the window were a real highlight, and the brand‑new beds and bathroom felt surprisingly modern compared to the building’s older look. They even left water, coffee and tea in the room and a microwave down the hall, which was handy. Finding the entrance was a bit of a hassle – you have to locate a keypad up a metal staircase, and there’s only a simple clothes rack instead of a proper wardrobe.

Instructions for getting into the apartment were spot‑on and parking was straightforward, so check‑in was painless. Inside, the room was spotless, roomy and pretty comfortable to sleep in. The downside was the lack of blackout curtains – street lights kept the room bright at night – and the place is a fair walk from the city centre.

The location was okay and the room gave us enough space to spread out, which was nice. Unfortunately, the bed was crawling with fleas and we ended up with bites all over our bodies, which totally ruined the stay.

The staff were genuinely excellent, always friendly and quick to help. On the flip side, the bed was infested with fleas and other bugs, making sleeping uncomfortable.
