“MISLEADING and FALSE description”
There are no private bathrooms in the bedrooms even though the description says: "Each room includes a tea and coffee maker, bidet, hairdryer, shower, slippers, and free toiletries". I told the owner that the wording indicates those items should be in each room. Also, only the kitchen is advertised as "shared" for everyone in the flat. The bedroom lacked tea, a coffee maker, and slippers, and the shared bathroom on the last floor has a toilet but no bidet. Advertising each room with its own shower, bidet, and toiletries when they are missing is misleading; if I had known the room had no private bathroom, I would not have booked it. The owner replied that the advertisement and title state the house is shared and its amenities. I pointed out that the original name under which the property was advertised ("Quarto 6 casa compartilhada no L6") differed from the current one, having changed after I booked. When I asked them to correct the description because it was misleading, and they still didn't explain the missing slippers, they said: "We make slippers available, someone must have taken them unintentionally." I only received a brief apology after I requested an apology for the lack of oversight. The next morning, the shower only had hot water for about a minute, so I had to take a cold shower. The bathroom lock seemed broken/faulty and I was anxious someone might enter while I was inside. Some tenants ignored the quiet hours rule, having loud phone conversations after 11 pm. The room was not the cleanest.
The place was clean and comfortable.
The room and bed were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and large, Lidl was just 1 minute away, and the communal area was cosy.
