A little paradise in Val D'Orcia, the house is a true gem and has been refurbished carefully to high technical standards while preserving the charm of the historic structure; the view from the pool is unbeatable and the owners are fantastic. Marcello introduced us to the basics of olive‑oil tasting and production, which was a great exercise – we will definitely return! The only thing that could be improved is the unpaved road to the property – unfortunately this reflects the general decline of Tuscan roads each year and local governments seem indifferent.

The location is gorgeous with cinematic views over the rolling hills, we couldn’t get enough. The owner was super helpful when our rental car wouldn’t charge, and he did everything he could to help us with his plug. The only possible drawback in high season is that the ground‑air‑conditioning can’t go below 25 °C.
