“Mooi ingerichte guesthouse op goede locatie.”
The room was beautifully decorated, but there was no view from the balcony and no window opening.

Everything was flawless; Ines was a fantastic host who replied instantly, the apartments were stylish, immaculate, cozy, and beautifully designed. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

What sets this place apart is its uniqueness; the flat appears to have been split from a larger unit into two or three smaller ones. The windows overlook the park, there's a comfy bed, a gramophone—a nice touch—plus cookies, water and Port wine to greet guests, and even local soap which we liked. The host was very accommodating, going beyond normal service. Though it’s a 15‑minute walk to the centre, we rate it a 10 and would stay again.

I found a gem in República 157; the room was huge, the bed comfortable, and it had everything you could need for a trip, even a clothes steamer. The hosts deserve special praise for their communication, friendliness, and patience—especially when I had trouble with the keypad. If I go back to Porto, I’ll definitely book this gorgeous residence again. Thanks, Ines ❤️🍷 Nothing was lacking; it was amazing.

The apartment was very roomy, spotless, and close to the centre. The bed was extremely comfortable, and with two sets of curtains you can block out daylight completely. The owner’s touch of providing port wine and daily fresh water meant I didn’t have to fuss. The supermarket is just across the square if you need groceries. The owners were very helpful and responsive. On the downside, the bathroom was quite small, making it tough for larger people to get in and out of the shower. The apartment faces the courtyard, and there’s a construction site on that side, so it can be a bit noisy on weekdays, though work starts at 08:20, just about when I naturally wake up, so it wasn’t a problem for me (I was there at the beginning of September 2026). The only real drawback was the lack of a stove to cook eggs for breakfast; I have a limited diet, but since I was only there for three days, I managed with alternatives that don’t require cooking.
