“This place is an experience! Everyone made it so special, thanks again!”
Everything was perfect, and there was nothing to mention otherwise.
“A stunning end to 3 weeks in Italy! Total relaxation in paradise and very close to Brindisi Airport”
Everything was absolutely perfect! The property looked stunning and the suites were beautiful. The scent of flowers in the gardens and the amazing herb and vegetable gardens delighted the senses. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming. The chef gathered produce from the garden, explained the dish he was going to make, and even plucked almonds from the tree and grapes from the vine over the restaurant for us to eat. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.
“Paradise”
This place is stunning and should not be missed! The rooms are fabulous, the team is genuinely lovely, the gardens are delightful and amazing, and the food is wonderful.
“Que du plaisir”
The place, the décor, the staff’s kindness, and the evening garden meal were all wonderful. Nothing to add.
“Exceptional. An authentic and lux Puglian stay.”
The experience was exceptional. Like many who have reviewed this beautiful place, I’ve stayed at many upscale hotels, but this one was different. When we arrived, the staff greeted us with a smile, saying, “Welcome to paradise!” I thought that was a bold claim, but it was true. If you’re after authentic yet modern luxury, a celebration of Puglian heritage fused with nature’s best foods prepared and delivered by some of the nicest, most charming staff, this is it. The vision for Trulli Damari is huge: create a garden of paradise in the Puglian countryside around a cluster of perfect trulli, renovated and re‑imagined as authentic yet stylish accommodations. A Puglian oasis, so to speak. The highlight was the stunning gardens, inspired by Monet, with flowing flowers, an amazing lawn, olive trees draped with sun‑dried tomatoes, and acres of vegetables and herbs in the productive gardens. I could also say it was a therapeutic massage under an olive tree while bees and butterflies buzzed overhead, followed by a dip in the deep turquoise pool (rarely crowded) and a double sun lounger. Or I could say it was diving into some of the most delicious and creative Puglian dishes served simply and perfectly under a grape‑dappled arbor, complemented by excellent Puglian wines. It was all of those things. But the cherry on top was the amazing people who served and cared for us: Simone, our stylish host and concierge; Mirko, the most creative chef who championed locally sourced ingredients; Analisa, clever and informative; Nicole, the most attentive and lovely; the gardeners, cleaners, and other brilliant staff who made it all possible; and finally Dario, who took us to the beautiful Martina Franca and Monopoli—a smart guy and great problem solver. The only negative was that it’s intentionally quiet and relaxed, with no pizza nights or karaoke. It’s also rural and not close to a town (15 minutes walking). There are only six rooms (12 people max). But if you want deep chill and a quality, authentic experience, this is it.
