The front desk was friendly during both check‑in and check‑out, but the bedside lamp couldn’t be plugged in because there was no extension cord to reach the outlet, and the computer in the breakfast area was unusable without a mouse.

The spot was handy, right on the route from LAX to Sequoia, close to the highway yet not too noisy; the room was roomy, old but kept up well, and it was a good deal for the price I paid, though a few homeless folks sleeping on the stairs beside my room felt a bit creepy.

The only highlight was the pool; everything else was terrible—dirty rooms, torn and filthy carpet, unclean toilet and towels, a strong cigarette odor throughout the room and hotel, a sketchy area and parking lot, and the sheets felt like a fraud; I left after an hour without getting a refund.
