The spot is perfect – a short stroll to town and the beach right across the street. The only gripe was the pillows – they were way too firm and left us with sore necks. The TV was a no‑go and the balcony was so grimy we didn’t even sit outside.

Walking to Byron shops and the beach was a breeze. We had plenty of room for our family and the winter bedding was just right. The host was super responsive. The downside? The driveway couldn’t fit two 4WDs – we had to park on the roadside instead, which wasn’t mentioned.

The kitchen had a jug and toaster, which was handy. The beds were too small and wobbly when you leaned back – they should’ve been listed as Queen or Double, not “Large Double.” The trash bin in the kitchen was poorly placed, the lounge furniture looked tired, and there were no ceiling fans. The loft air‑con wouldn’t turn on either.

The location is unbeatable – right across from the beach. There’s plenty of living space, great for families with teens, and the layout lets you leave surfboards out front safely. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are solid, the kitchen is well stocked, and the laundry is a lifesaver. Honestly, nothing to complain about.

Every part of the house is gorgeous and the location is spot‑on. We loved the distance from town and the evening walks down the boulevard after dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly and the vibe in Byron Bay is so relaxed. The only downside was the pillows – they were a bit off.
