The host was warm and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely with homemade cakes and eggs cooked just the way we wanted. The tips for restaurants in Noto and Modica turned out to be top choices for us. On the balcony there was at times a faint smell from tuna‑canning, a slight cod‑liver‑oil scent, but we just closed the window and it wasn’t a big issue.
