Breakfast was excellent, featuring traditional Java dishes, and the host even handed me a takeaway because I was catching an early train. I didn't find anything I disliked.

The location is ideal as a stop between the ferry and the train station, both within walking distance, yet the stay remains quiet, clean, and tidy. The owner comes across as somewhat reserved or shy (though very friendly), which made the welcome a bit brief.

The Guest House was spotless, the room was terrific with a kettle, bottled water, and hot water in the bathroom; breakfast snacks arrived early and were freshly cooked, the two huge beds had doonas, aircon was available, and it was a lovely 5 minute walk to the main railway station.

Near the harbor, the kitchen was usable, donuts were provided for breakfast, and the hostess was nice—many thanks!
