The room was nicely done up in a traditional style. The shared spaces were a good size and the kitchen was well-equipped. The staff were friendly and we had some great chats. It's located in a residential area surrounded by greenery - a nice spot to unwind.

One night wasn't enough at Rumah Gaharu - I wish I could've stayed longer. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The host, Mifta, was super chill and made me feel welcome. The whole place has a really relaxing vibe and the neighborhood is quiet, making it a great spot to experience the real Indonesian countryside. So far, this has been my favorite spot in Indonesia - thanks Mifta for the hospitality, I'll definitely be back.
