We picked that caravan because it sits beneath the flight path, so we could watch planes.

The holiday park itself was nice, with a pleasant walk to the lake and a good location. The welcome pack in the caravan was a nice touch, offering coffee sachets, tea bags (but no milk), sugar and biscuits. The caravan clearly needed a deep clean: surfaces, the toilet and sink were wiped, floors hoovered and a basic mop done, yet crumbs lay around the unused toaster on a shelf at eye level. Skirtings and floor edges were dusty, dirty and full of hairs. The underside of the kitchen sink bowl was filthy, and I spotted food that had fallen into one of the radiators. One duvet cover bore a small old blood stain. The toilet roll holder appeared to have been removed from the wall and was found atop a cupboard. Wi‑Fi lasted only a few minutes before disconnecting, and mobile signal was almost nonexistent. The park area was poorly sign‑posted, making it hard to locate the caravan at first. Overall, I was disappointed, especially after reading earlier reviews that praised cleanliness.

It was lovely and clean with quality bedding, everything you needed was provided, comfortable beds, a nice big TV, plenty of wardrobe space, and nice outdoor furniture. The only downside was that there was free internet for just one day, which I couldn’t get either; I tried many times to pay for WiFi but needed internet to pay. The grounds around the caravans were scruffy and not well maintained, with someone dumping a load of McDonald’s empty cartons and drink bottles across from us that weren’t removed even though workers passed by. Lots of rubbish was scattered everywhere. A site map would help because it’s a total maze.
