The welcome was very warm, family‑like and friendly. Ahmed went out of his way, for example, to find me a bike, and the food was delicious and generous. Very quiet, a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path but not too far (the oasis is quite spacious). The pool was a nice spot to cool off. A little paradise I recommend, great value for money.
Hamed and his family were very welcoming and made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a relaxed, friendly place, stay there; they’re ready to help anytime. Hamed showed us around town and his mom cooked the most delicious traditional food we’ve ever had!
“Pure magic!”
I stumbled upon a truly unique spot – Hammad’s place. The young host is warm, welcoming, and does everything himself, pouring love into every detail. The house feels serene, spotless, and authentically Siwan.
It was another oasis hidden inside an oasis. The town and village feel quiet, especially the house, with plenty of sunlight and comfort. Host Hamed’s touch and sense turned the house into a stylish space. He also offers city tours in a car, not a buggy, so the trip was cool and pleasant. Dinner could be requested; you’ll get a dish where meat, rice, and vegetables are sealed under a lid and slowly cooked over a fire—another local specialty. You can also enjoy a campfire and have the host brew tea for you. The house has trees beside it, like a small farm, and a hidden pool inside. It was hot, but the pool was refreshing. The mountain view from there is stunning. I never expected to see such antique furniture in Siwa, but the host says they all came from Alexandria. The exterior matches the Siwa vibe. Even just staying inside the house felt peaceful and good.
We loved our stay. The spot is enchanting, located in the palm grove at the foot of a mountain. The breakfast is extraordinary, changing daily. We did two amazing excursions. Hamoudi was always attentive. Great trip—we’ll return. Everything was perfect.
