I have stayed here many times. The rooms are fabulous… very comfortable, quiet, clean and modern. The food is excellent and Diane in particular is a great front‑of‑house manager. She’s always so friendly and helpful and goes above and beyond to assist.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly. The location was good, and both breakfast and evening meals were fantastic. Some small issues might be worth addressing: background music from the pub was piped into the garden and could be heard in the rooms, a few rooms only had one clothes hanger, the film on the glass was peeling, and the bedside lights were angled down, making it hard to read at night. Otherwise I would recommend this place to stay.

The room looked out over the garden. It’s a bit off the beaten path—you’d have to drive, take a cab, or catch a train. The beer garden is right outside the room, so it can get noisy, especially later at night.

The staff were great, dinner was tasty but breakfast fell short. There wasn’t enough space in the bedroom to eat it and, naturally, it was cold. Plenty of food, but not really what you want.

Very quiet and a special spot.
