I think this hotel is a solid choice for Turkestan, both in service and location; the room was clean, all advertised amenities were present, coffee was available at the reception any time, and the laundry cost was reasonable with fast, quality work. However, despite being only six years old, many details feel a bit worn: the bathroom tiles, the ceilings, and even the bedside lamp barely stayed in place. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers in my bathroom were faulty until I requested a fix. I’d like to see more variety at breakfast; the porridge changed daily but everything else stayed the same. I was also surprised to find the cucumbers and tomatoes in Turkestan bland and watery.
