The apartment Katharina at the Stärk farmstead invites you to relax; the furnishings clearly show they were chosen with care. Everything is very clean and the hosts are 100 % focused on guest comfort. In Steinhaus you can enjoy complete silence, with no traffic or other noise.

The kids could join the evening feeding of the animals, and the road was so quiet that our boys could play Bobby cars there. The farm also had other vehicles for children. Modern décor, a spacious apartment, and a quiet setting made for a lovely, family‑friendly atmosphere. The self‑serve fridge stocked with eggs and drinks was great, as was the bread service. The natural pool was a nice escape on hot days. We did need a deep pan, which wasn’t available, so we improvised with the two pans we had; there were plenty of pots though.

We enjoyed the stay completely. The apartment made us feel at home, and each morning we started with breakfast on the balcony. The farm is close to many exciting day trips for both adults and kids (5 and 7 years old). Even hiking didn’t prove difficult for the children thanks to the wonderful surroundings of the Eistobel. The nearby Ravensburger Museum invites exploration, browsing, reading, and playing, and you can easily spend more than a full day there. A boat trip on Lake Constance, a visit to Meersburg, and many other activities were on the list, but we didn’t manage to fit them all in. We stayed for 10 days and would have liked to stay longer. On the farm we had quiet days by the natural swimming pond, which was a highlight for both parents and children. The animal feeding was a big hit with our two kids. The only downside was the poor mobile network and internet—something that hopefully will improve in the future, as the cables are already there. The mosquitoes also bit us a lot.

Staying on the farm was lovely—peaceful, with pedal cars for both kids and adults, and the owner explained everything. The quiet, clean environment and the beautiful pool were great, and the pedal cars added fun.

The surroundings were beautiful, the accommodation spotless, and the hosts were very kind. The pool was excellent, and the bread delivery for breakfast was a nice touch. Children enjoyed the farm animals.
