The location is great and the price is good for a stay in Takayama. The concept is original with a bar inside. I received very few responses when I asked the owner for information. The neighborhood can be very noisy at night.

I booked the whole building, so there were no other guests around and I could relax freely. The kitchen was well equipped and the amenities were good. The overall cleanliness of the building was great, but personally I found the dolls and stuffed animals a little scary.

Getting in and out of the accommodation was hassle‑free and there’s a supermarket within walking distance. It’s ideal for large groups. The parking lot is nearby, but the pricing is confusing; it would be helpful if they could offer a single nightly rate for the lot.

The location is excellent, within walking distance of every attraction and the train station. The building was very cold, drafty, and hard to heat; I had to shut all the doors and crank the oil heaters up high.

The room was spotless and the air‑conditioning was turned on before I arrived, making the stay very comfortable. The bar on the first floor was also nice. The only drawback is that the building still has a Showa‑era feel, but the price justifies it.
