BroadView Hotel undoubtedly has the best view of the Nanga Parbat, which alone justifies staying here. However, the hot water cannot be controlled.
The views were good, but it was better to sleep in my own tent; there was zero comfort.
The view tops everything, the owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food was tasty! They responded quickly and gave us extra wood for the fire and fresh bedsheets when we asked. It’s fine for a couple of nights, but the room needs a proper cleaning and the bathroom repairs. All the bathroom pipes were leaking and the toilet flush didn’t work; a bucket fixes it temporarily but the bathroom was overall very dirty. Towels and bedding were also dirty on arrival, so we had them changed. There’s no WiFi, but the owner shared his hotspot so we could connect when he was nearby.
The views from the room were impressive, yet sometimes I had to wait 40 minutes for hot water.
“Hike up to some of the bsst views in the world”
I had no idea what to expect because there was very little information online, but the views from here were absolutely unreal. After hiking up to the property—part of it after sundown with our local guides—I was very happy to reach our little chalet. We paid extra for a small fire in the room, and the freshly prepared meals were the best we had tried in all of Pakistan. The staff were very hospitable. On the downside, the sheets and bathroom in the rooms were not the cleanest; the dining area was cold, and there was a lack of information available online before arrival.
