Everything was perfect for me and my daughter; the staff were friendly and helpful, we ate at the restaurant for Sunday lunch and it was delicious and great value, and I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

The 10‑point rating comes from the warm welcome and hospitality, the pub quiz invitation, and the chance to chat about shared adventures; the location offers easy access to the Brecon Beacons and the value for money is great. Everything was fine.

I stayed there a month ago and had to come back; the value was good, the service was good, and overall it was enjoyable. Nothing was an issue, really; the room was spotless, the owner mentioned a problem with the bathroom door, but it didn’t affect me.
