“Übernachten im Schloss”
The chateau is a very beautiful water castle, the room was practical with an original balcony, and the access to the room is through narrow, steep stairs, as expected in a castle.

The castle was gorgeous, the room was roomy, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. There were a few minor electrical issues and the bathroom felt a bit cold.

Ok, so this place is a bit special. Its basically a living museum and you will be sleeping in rooms that are hundreds of years old, and I mean 100's of years old! Its packed with history and antiques and full of quirks! If you like that sort of thing then this is the place for you.its very unique. Access and parking are sadly also from the middle ages so getting in and out of your room with luggage can be a problem. There is also no food or drinks offering other than a simple breakfast in the morning, this venue is very much 'self-service'. You are very isolated too so getting to a restaurant for dinner can be a challenge, especially on a Monday as most are closed. If you don't have an open mind and are not ready to experience something very different then this place is not for you

The château, built at the end of the 13th century, is beautiful and authentic, surrounded by a moat and a lovely park. It’s full of historic artefacts and decorations, and staying in the donjon felt like stepping back in time. The three bedrooms were very authentic, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom modern. We enjoyed the great swimming pool that was just for us. Breakfast was nice, and we definitely recommend this place if you want a stay in a historic castle. The Wi‑Fi was often not working or weak.

A fantastic castle, the rooms were very pretty, and we had a heated pool entirely to our use. We didn’t realize we would be the only guests, and besides breakfast there were no options for anything else to eat (e.g., dinner or drinks).
