“Expected sunset view - got shore view.”
The room was nicely furnished with a good bathroom, but I booked the sunset‑view lagoon villa to see the sunset, only to be told it was unavailable on arrival. I rescheduled for November 2024, received no updates, and ended up in a different villa that didn’t have the shore view I wanted. I was effectively downgraded without a price cut, felt scammed, and the villa was dirty with cockroaches. The low tide made the ocean smell bad when there was no water.
