The public space is very spacious, and you can freely use the kitchen and fridge. There are no shops nearby, and the restaurant only operates at specific times, so you need to prepare dinner, breakfast, or ingredients yourself and cook. Or drive or take a bus to the nearby West Coast city center.

A charming Japanese house with several rooms. My room was a tad small, only a futon, but it fit one person fine; two people would feel cramped. The kitchen and common area are free and well‑equipped. On the second night the staff were absent, leaving me alone in the house with no other guests, which felt a bit creepy. Inside the room there’s no comfy seating, and the blankets were too short for my 190 cm height.

We enjoyed the communal vibe of the house and the hosts were welcoming when we shared a wonderful dinner on site. The food was fantastic and the hospitality even better.
