The host was super friendly and welcoming. He took us on a tour of the area and shared a lot about its history. Nothing to complain about.

The view was amazing, but the pool was a bit small and the place was a little noisy in the mornings.

We had a fantastic time at Vila Sofia. Hetem was an awesome host who treated us like family. The villa itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views and easy access to waterfalls, lakes, Berat, Gjirokastra, and more. Hetem was super warm, drove us to his lake on day one, and showed us his sister’s supermarket. We’d love to come back anytime and are grateful for this experience.

The owners were very pleasant. They don’t speak much English, but their translator, willingness, and hands‑on help were perfect. The host offered us free tours and showed us places we wouldn’t have found otherwise. I’d give it a ten out of ten.

Everything was great: the staff were incredibly kind, the food excellent, and the generosity huge. The owner took us on free tours of the area and the city of Gjirokaster. The only downside was that I’d have liked a 4x4 to reach the nearby towns because the roads are a bit rough.
