The hotel’s unique rooms are definitely one of a kind. The lady at reception was very nice. Everything else is very old‑fashioned. The bathroom was extremely small. The restaurant was closed, so we had to drive to the next town for a meal because there was nothing nearby. It sits right on the main road.

Lunch and dinner are fantastic. The staff are very friendly. Dogs are allowed and welcome. The rooms are themed but clearly outdated. The smell in the hallway and in the room was really unpleasant; we almost checked out. Breakfast was borderline and only offered pre‑baked rolls.

Nice owners, great spot for hiking, and a comfy bed! It was a real departure from standard hotels. The only downside was that you had to book and pay separately for the real breakfast items—sausages, cheese, eggs, juice, etc.—which felt odd. The building is old and currently undergoing renovations, so it’s very noisy.

The location, the house’s originality, and its history are all fantastic. The waterfall’s rush and the Oker River feel very soothing. The food was very good. Small flaws inside and outside the building, especially in the rooms, are noticeable and the place feels a bit dated. It could be cleaner, but the extreme staff shortage makes that understandable.
