“Beautiful house, and a real cook in it”

The interior is genuinely beautiful and the location in Étretat is unbeatable; we were very pleased. The kitchen really shines – the dishes taste like real culinary talent. If I could give the owners a tip, it would be to lean into that. The food could become the main reason people choose you instead of just a nice bonus. Breakfast was served at a single shared table, which felt a bit uncomfortable; separate tables or at least an option would make mornings easier for guests who want a quiet start.

“Beautiful hotel, not a special experience”

The historic house is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We had to do a self‑check‑in because no one was there, so we missed learning about all the amenities. A not‑very‑friendly dog on the property roams without a leash. After check‑out we had to pay for coffee that was free at breakfast. The hosts were nice, but the experience felt ordinary because of these issues. For the price, we expected more.

“Zeer goede accommodatie met vriendelijk personeel en super goed ontbijt”

The location is beautiful, right in the city center but unnoticeable. The surroundings are quiet and within walking distance of the stunning coast. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast was truly excellent! Highly recommended.
