Good location and value for money, but the hot water system needs fixing and the wait time is too long.

The staff were friendly, but we booked a room with two single beds and received a double bed instead. The moment we entered, a strong cigarette smell hit us, as if someone had smoked ten packs in that room before. The beds were dirty, with holes and stains in the sheets, and a few hairs were still on the “new” bed. It’s clearly not suitable for foreign tourists, so I’d suggest staying in a hostel instead.

The rooms and the hotel look nothing like the pictures and are very outdated and dirty, yet the staff were helpful and did their best. Even so, their efforts couldn’t compensate for the lack of maintenance and cleaning. I’d recommend staying elsewhere after checking four different rooms to avoid the smoke smell. The sheets were so dirty that we asked for replacements and received less stained ones. The rooms smelled of smoke, had holes and stains in the sheets, and the bed contained hair; the mattress and pillow were very old and needed replacement. The walls were dirty with mould and small cracks, and the bathroom had not been cleaned properly for a while, with white stains on the mirror, floor, and toilet, plus little worms in the drain. The hotel sits next to a busy road with limited or no sidewalks.

I didn’t like anything; it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Read the Google Maps reviews before booking—I can’t understand how this place has a 7+ rating on booking. Everything was bad: no Wi‑Fi, a 30‑year‑old mattress, sheets smaller than the bed, and your legs just sit on the old mattress. No towels, no soap, and the shower smells like pee. The lighting was terrible, like a cave. Bed bugs bit my back and legs; photos don’t match reality. I’ve stayed in hundreds of cheap hotels in South Asia, and this one is the worst. I paid for two nights but left after the first. I hope you read someone’s review first.
