“Soggiorno breve”
The location was exactly what I wanted, but there was too much noise from the upper floors and the side rooms, even with the TV on.

The owner was always very kind and helpful. That kindness showed up with a daily coffee sachet (already available from day one) and a small umbrella. The room had a very adequate air conditioner, keeping the temperature comfortable. However, despite the owner checking in daily, the garbage was never taken out. By the fourth day the bins were full (I ate in the room several times) and started to smell unpleasant. For those traveling in larger groups, note that the price for two guests is double that for one, excluding booking fees—a legitimate choice, but an unusual pricing method. The room is spacious and comfortable for two, but using it as a quadruple with the sofa bed makes the space feel quite cramped. Even for two people, the wardrobe space is limited, and the bathroom barely offers enough room for personal items. A simple toothbrush holder would have helped. The room has a window with frosted glass on the mid‑high part of a wall, which can open but faces a small external parking lot used by a neighbor’s car, beyond which another road runs, and then the room’s door. This layout makes the room dim and, above all, noisy. At night, the fridge’s noise can be quite annoying, and there are additional sounds from the adjacent room, separated by a light door typical of interior rooms. Lastly, the bed had a mattress topper under the sheets that made it hot during the first nights; removing it improved the situation significantly.

The welcome and the location were very well taken care of.

At first I was skeptical but that turned out to be unfounded. The apartment is a good size for two people, clean, and practical. I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay beyond a night or two, but the host is very friendly and communicative.

Everything needed for a night was there. The owner made the check‑in very easy (our flight was delayed) and was very attentive. There’s no air‑conditioning, there’s noise from the neighboring room, and it’s not close to the town center (it’s a village). It’s expensive for its quality, yet still one of the cheapest options in Alghero.
