“Pleasant and Safe”
James, the friendly host, greeted us, gave us a tour of the guest house, and made sure we were comfortable; our room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with old-fashioned charm mixed with modern touches, and we’ll definitely book this Guesthouse again when we pass through Graaff-Reinet on our next trip.

Centrally situated with Old Karoo charm, nothing else to complain about – we had a wonderful stay.
The rooms were stylish and appropriately sized, and the breakfast was good.
The location is absolutely ideal within Graaf-Reinet, with restaurants, coffee shops and historical attractions all within a short walk; the rooms are spacious with beds that will let you hit the snooze button for that extra 5 minutes, all topped off by the friendly and ever helpful host James.
The staff are great and the house has a lot of charm; the breakfast was wonderful and there’s secure indoor parking, but the house is old and the passage of time is also noticeable in the rooms.
