“We were disappointed this issue was not resolved before we departed”
The neighborhood was quiet and clean, yet we didn’t receive the correct accommodations and the property didn’t communicate proactively.

The room was large, clean, with great bedding and a solid shower, though there was no view. Overall they did the best they could with what they had. The listing was the most misleading I've seen; the place differed entirely from the posting, with a lot of noise from other floors and outside. Since the room was a repurposed garage, soundproofing was poor.

The air‑conditioner was loud, neighbors could be heard, and water was dripping in the bathroom.

The cleaning lady was nice and the instructions were clear, and the location was good. First, they gave us the wrong room: we paid for 4 adults but got a room for 2 adults and 1 child, and the sofa bed couldn’t fit 2 adults as advertised. No refund was ever given. Second, the owner was unreachable and terrible at communicating; I tried to contact him about the mistake, he offered a 55% refund, then vanished after I responded. Customer service told me I didn’t accept the offer in time, but they never mentioned a deadline and didn’t reply when I called or messaged several times. I was scammed and never compensated by the owner.

The spot was right where I needed to be, and the room turned out bigger than I thought, enough for maybe three people. However, it wasn’t very quiet – the building is a single house with shared walls, so I got jolted awake at 4 AM by a neighbor in the room next to mine. The walls are thin, and getting onto the roof requires passing through a gate, but once there you find other guests lounging in their private sitting area, which felt intrusive. There were no lights on the rooftop at night, so I couldn’t eat there. Parking is street‑side and first‑come, first‑served. The house sits in a suburban neighborhood where the houses are very close together.
