A quiet spot with a nice large pool, but the pool only opens from 17:00 to 19:00, which feels too short. The breakfast was very tasty.

The place was perfectly positioned for my trip north through France, even during the worst heat wave ever recorded there; the owners let me check in earlier than booked so I could escape the worst afternoon heat. The swimming pool was great and long enough to swim a few laps if I wanted. The setting was very quiet with not much happening, which was perfect for me. I paid for dinner with the hosts—a four‑course meal with wine—and breakfast was also excellent, though I was still full from the previous night’s dinner. The rooms upstairs were warm because it was 45 °C outside, but ceiling fans were installed, making for a very comfortable night’s sleep.
