The room was clean, but after booking a non‑refundable stay we were told a 10‑euro surcharge (high for one night) would apply per pet. We were late because of traffic and received a message saying we had to arrive quickly because someone would be leaving; an advance notice would have helped. The room was very hot; the suggestion to open the window was useless since the outside was even hotter and there was a direct view, and the fan didn’t make a difference. In a heatwave, knowing about this discomfort before booking is essential. My husband and I felt the reception was mixed when our two dogs were present, even though I had asked beforehand if their presence would bother him. This is the first time we felt our pets were a nuisance in a pet‑friendly place.
