The staff were friendly, the bed comfy, the shower hot, the city view from the room was nice, and they offered free luggage storage. However, the hotel is far from the subway and main attractions, requiring a 15‑20 minute walk each time we went to and from the hotel; it didn’t look far on the map but it really added up, especially over multiple days. I’d booked it for its supposed “close proximity” to places, only to find that wasn’t true. The property itself wasn’t in great shape—there were cockroaches in the lobby, peeling paint, and stains in the room, and we never received fresh towels when the room was cleaned, which was annoying. I’ve stayed at the other location closer to Times Square, and that one is much nicer and more modern.

The place is in a good spot and the room stayed clean, but the windows and doors aren’t sound‑proof, and the breakfast was very basic with no vegetables at all.

The location was great, the rooms were clean, and it was pretty quiet. The Wi‑Fi kept dropping out, and the lobby ran out of space for breakfast on a few mornings.
