The village was wonderful, the villagers and host were warm and welcoming. The streets were quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed the evening entertainment. The only downside is the lack of shopping options in the village. Also, because the house is three stories, the stairs may not be suitable for families with small children.

Everything was very nice; Patrika is a beautiful quiet village with a café that turns into a tavern at night, good food and good people. The owner, George, is always ready to help with anything we need and to give us information about the beautiful island of Chios for food or beach.

I stayed in a restored old Greek stone house that feels like a 2.5‑storey building; the bedroom on the lower floor was lovely, the middle floor could have been a bit better but the pull‑out sofa was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had enough utensils, though the loft was cramped. It isn’t suitable for families with small children because there are only two beds and the ceiling is low. Overall, the house is beautifully decorated and spotless. The village of Patrika is a bit out of the way and there’s no market there; the village square does have a cute café, but we could only get water.

The place is an authentic village with great neighbors and a calm atmosphere. We were five people and felt very comfortable; the host was extremely hospitable.
