“Schöner und erholsamer Familienaufenthalt”

We enjoyed a pleasant stay overall, especially the Kids Club where the caregivers genuinely ensured the kids felt comfortable, actively engaged with them, and were very warm. The restaurant and hotel staff remained consistently friendly and helpful, and being surrounded by forest was truly beautiful and relaxing. However, the sauna policy during family times was a clear issue: the sauna is textilfrei, and this rule apparently applies even when children are present. I found it inappropriate for kids in a family sauna to inevitably encounter the nudity and genitals of other adults. Families may have very different personal, cultural, religious, or educational boundaries. What felt particularly uncomfortable was that I was not addressed directly about my swimsuit; instead, another guest spoke to the reception, and I was then reminded of the rule. I wish the hotel could offer a more family‑friendly solution, such as separate times for textilfrei sauna use and for guests who prefer to wear swimwear, so that different needs can be respected without forcing any group to forgo sauna access.

The food was good and plentiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nevertheless, a sport hotel should have a complete smoking ban, including the outdoor dining area and especially the terraces and balconies of the rooms. It’s very disconcerting to have to shut your own window because a neighbor is smoking. This ruined the entire stay, and under these conditions I will avoid and not recommend this hotel in the future.

Breakfast was good and varied, and the staff were friendly. The holiday cottages were clean and spacious enough.

The site is beautiful and the room was spacious and nicely appointed, while the restaurant served well and the beauty salon treatments felt pleasant in a large, attractive setting. However, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, the overall property felt quite dated, and the spa, though well‑equipped, lacked an outdoor pool. The teen facial could have included a neck or head massage while the mask was on; instead they left it out, which made the treatment feel overpriced. All in all, the price‑to‑quality ratio for the stay was disappointing.
