I appreciated how clean and quiet the hotel was, but the management was lacking.

The staff had no idea we had booked and paid; the photos on bookings.com didn’t match the actual rooms. The room we got had a broken bed, and the staff deemed it fine, claiming my toddler could sleep there. The next room was just as bad, and the staff even tried to shut the drawers, nearly causing the cupboard to fall on her head. We were accused of rudeness instead of being heard. The owner was unaware of our stay and said he’d refund us once he received the money from bookings.com, but by the 31st the funds hadn’t appeared in his account. I want a refund because my family and I couldn’t stay there. We ended up sleeping at Sleep 'n Go – a great alternative – and later at Villa Africa in Polokwane, but we did not use bookings.com for that booking because of the awful experience with Koos se Tonteldoos. Please help us get our money back.
