Located in the heart of Bucharest's Old Town, New Era Hotel is surrounded by cobblestone streets, popular landmarks like Stavropoleos Church, and the Ministry of Health. The hotel is within walking distance to the Bucharest National Theater TNB and near the National Museum of Art. Rooms feature desks, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms, while some have terraces. A buffet breakfast is served daily.

It was very central with access to everywhere. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. It was immaculately clean. The extractor fan in the bathroom would be a welcome addition. Noise is a problem, which the hotel are very honest about when booking and they agree with our booking of a room over the courtyard.

A mediocre stay, honestly not great. The staff weren’t very friendly and were very strict about schedules even though the hotel was almost empty. The hotel wasn’t very clean either. I don’t recommend it.

The location is in the old center, so you’ll hear noise. That wasn’t the problem; the problem was that starting at 7‑8 am the cleaning staff made a lot of noise, ignoring the other guests who were still sleeping. If you stay there, know you’ll leave tired and sleepless, or you’ll have to sleep with very good earplugs.

Very pleasant hotel, calm, admirably maintained, and well‑located. Nothing to complain about. Outside noise was barely noticeable at night.

I slept in a cozy, quiet room that felt welcoming after a hectic day of cultural sights; the breakfast spread offered a solid mix of hot and cold dishes, even fresh figs, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient. Multumesc from two Welsh ladies 🏴 . 🇷🇴❤️
