The garden was nice. The staff were on vacation because of carnival, so the wifi was nonexistent – you had to ask the owner for an AirPod.

The place was very quiet.
The setting was friendly and the welcome was superb.
“Stunning and comfortable location at the foot of the volcano”
The location is beautiful at the foot of the Soufrière volcano. The owner is absolutely delightful and welcoming. The houses have jacuzzis and are perfect for relaxing after a whole day’s walk through the tropical forest, visiting the many waterfalls, the volcano, and the gorgeous sights while discovering the island. There’s no restaurant in Basse‑Terre in the evening, so we went to the local grocery store (very good) and cooked ourselves in the rental kitchen. We ate outside on the patio with the tropical forest’s relaxing noise in the background. Absolutely stunning place. I would highly recommend it.
