“Not meeting expectations”
The spot is convenient, but the rooms feel old‑fashioned.

The Holiday Inn Farnborough, located in a historic Edwardian building, offers bright and airy rooms with en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee facilities, and satellite TVs. A mini gym, fitness suite, and international restaurant are on site. Free parking is available. I could eat there because nothing nearby, and the staff were super friendly. The hotel was very busy.

I didn’t like anything because at 11:39am on the day of the booking, Holiday Inn Farnborough by IHG told me they could no longer accommodate me.

The place was clean and the staff great, yet it was utterly unacceptable for a wheelchair user: the stair lift was tiny and pathetic, and having to call reception to leave the room and then return felt like a prison experience. Breakfast was one of the worst piles of greasy slop I’ve ever tasted.

The location worked well for getting around, check‑in and check‑out were easy, parking was good, and many areas had been recently refurbished. The mattress was very firm and the pillows were lumpy.
