A quiet spot up north in Kalutara, close enough to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We got there by tuk‑tuk, which could park right outside the entrance; a big, clear sign points toward the bungalows from the main road. The place isn’t brand‑new, but it met our needs and we slept well. The lounge was spacious, the bed large, and everything was fine – nothing to complain about.

The owner, Shrimanta, is hands down the best host I’ve met in Sri Lanka. After traveling a lot, I finally found a true friend in him for just one day. He showed me Kalutara’s hidden gems, and we chatted about history, culture, philosophy, politics, and humor, making me laugh several times 😁. The apartment was spotless, the host polite and genuinely kind. I’ll definitely return soon. Wishing him many years of good health and luck.
