We loved our family stay at Bella Gamboa with two young kids. The place itself is already exceptional: the house is gorgeous, the rooms are stunning with a superb view, the pool is perfect, and especially the garden that slopes straight to the beach… we truly feel like we’re in a little paradise. What makes Bella Gamboa even more special is Ely. She is unusually kind and attentive, present without being overbearing, and creates such a personal atmosphere that you almost feel the place is yours. For us, that’s exactly the luxury here: calm, beauty, and a sense of privilege. The breakfast deserves a special mention. Everything is homemade and probably one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in a hotel. Ely’s breads are absolutely extraordinary. In the evening she also offers to dine on site. The dishes are simple, but prepared with great care and deliciousness. You can tell everything is made with enthusiasm and generosity. Finally, the location is perfect if, like us, you want peace without being isolated from Morro de São Paulo. Morro is about a 10‑minute taxi‑boat ride, or 30–40 minutes on foot along very beautiful beaches. This way you enjoy all the tranquility of Gamboa while still easily reaching Morro’s activity. It’s truly a place we’ll leave with regret. Everything was perfect!
