The hotel sits on the main street right in the middle of Ait‑Ben‑Haddou. Walking takes only a few minutes to the old Kasbah. The staff are truly very friendly and attentive. Wishes are fulfilled immediately. We were always handed delicious tea. The small balcony is nice, but you look toward the neighboring house. The hotel’s roof terrace is lovely. You can see the old town. However, pigeons feel at home here; you can see them. We were at a beer in the Bagdad Café. It felt like an oasis! Unfortunately, it wasn’t available for our dates. At arrival there was total chaos in front of the hotel. Many large tour buses were parked there. It’s an absolute transit hotel where most travelers stay only one night. That’s obvious. We stayed two nights. Our room was too small. No wardrobe, only two stools, one table and two beds that offer no storage! We had to stash our things on the dusty floor under the beds. The bathroom is functional. There is no shower curtain or wall. After showering the whole bathroom floods and everything is wet. On both evenings we had the same buffet. The food was at most lukewarm and sometimes visibly from the previous day. The fresh vegetables were dried out. The hotel is noisy because many guests don’t mind.

Everything was perfect, very good breakfast made by the host. The shower was not always hot.
