The e‑bike could only be chained outside the building, but the battery could be recharged in the room.

The location was great and the room was spacious, but the bathroom was a disaster with a terrible smell coming from the drain, and the breakfast didn’t justify the €14.90 price.

When I asked, the dirty sheets were changed, but the room we received had nothing to do with the pictures in the listing: the shower drain was clogged, the shower head was limescale‑covered, the sink drain was taped, the heating was rusted, the towels were ragged, and the walls were spotted. The hallway leading to the room made it seem like the area was under renovation, yet the receptionist was uninterested in a conversation and said it was just our personal impression that the room was worn out, even though the price matched that of a decent room.

The view of the Bavarian Forest is lovely, and it’s quiet because it’s on the edge of town, but the reception hours only go until 16:00.
