We had a bit of a disaster with our stay here. We arrived at 6 pm, but the receptionist couldn't find our booking, even with our confirmation in hand. We had to scramble to find another hotel for the night, and it wasn't until midnight that they finally tracked down our reservation. The next day, we checked in to find a pretty run-down room with low shower pressure, cold water, and no light in the bathroom.

This place was a total nightmare. It's out in the middle of nowhere, and the vibe was super creepy. When we got there, we were the only guests around, which was a bit unsettling. The room was a mess - dirty sheets with visible stains, and no fan to speak of. The air was stale and stuffy, and to top it all off, one of the beds had ants on it. Like, on the bed. We couldn't even think about sleeping there, so we ended up switching hotels and eating extra costs. Can I get a refund, please?

The location can't be beat, but that's about it. No other redeeming qualities here.

We didn't spend much time at this hotel, since we had tours lined up every day, but what time we did spend was fine, aside from the evenings. The real issue was the staff - they made my daughter and her friends feel really uncomfortable. One of them even followed them into the mall, which was way over the line.

This hotel's got a great location, close to Jam Gadang and some food stalls, but that's where the positives end. The room was a mess, and the shower was basically a trickle. To make matters worse, the area's got a lot of heavy smokers, which wasn't ideal.
