“Overall good”
The room is a nice size. The bed was very hard.
The room was very comfortable and clean, but the breakfast was very poor; it could be improved by offering juice, bread, etc. Everything else was excellent.
“Frustrating with no morning coffee”
The hotel actually has soft water, the room was clean, Walmart is next door, the bathroom mirror has a light around the outside edge of it, the staff was really nice except for not making the coffee in the morning and not keeping coffee made throughout the day, there is a full-size fridge in the room, they allow pets there for a hefty extra fee, even though I didn’t bring mine, there is a blackout curtain in the room that actually works, and the toilet bowl is elongated. The breakfast looked bigger and better on the advertisements; they advertise eggs but they are hard boiled in a package and about to expire and everyone gets to them and eats them all before you can get up, plus the staff doesn’t replenish. There is no hot water for the oatmeal packages. The coffee sucks and no one makes it; I had to make the coffee in the poor excuse of the breakfast area. There is no shade outside in the smoking section and it’s 110 degrees outside. There is no pool. You have to check out dishes, the coffee maker for the room, and silverware separately. They don’t tell you about the $100 incidental fee that they still have not returned to me yet and that goes on a separate charge from the same exact place, so it set off the alarms at my bank and my card got shut down for a day. This place is only $10 per night cheaper than their closest competitor but yet they take away almost every single amenity and it’s totally worth it just to pay the extra $10 somewhere else. They use some cheap cable box that runs to tons of TVs and so the picture on the screens absolutely sucks. It looks like it was recorded in black-and-white. I don’t even know why they spent so much on bigger TVs they may as well just put a 1960s TV with an antenna on it in the rooms and you can’t even connect to Netflix or anything else like that. You’re stuck with the cheap cable and the cheap low resolution picture. They didn’t even have the AC on in the room for me so when we first got in the room, it was 110° as well. Took 20 minutes to cool down. No conditioner, not even travel size in the shower.
“Decent but could improve”
It’s new, comfortable, and in a good location, with free parking and close to stores. The smell was intense, like dirt, the carpet was dirty, and the bathroom had used towels and soap. Breakfast was bad, but we knew that from other reviews, so it wasn’t a surprise.
“Our stay was fine for the short 2 days. It works for just a quick short stay.”
The front desk clerk was fine and polite, and the room was very clean. However, the breakfast was not really a breakfast—just prepackaged small muffins and granola bars, and the coffee tasted really bad.
