The host was friendly, the apartment was spacious and super clean, and the balcony view was stunning. Back at the property there were cows in the shed that were taken to the pasture in the morning and come back for a walk in the evening – such a lovely sight! From Ehrwald there are plenty of kid‑friendly hikes, so the location was perfect for us.

Super spot for hiking, biking or day trips (like the Blindsee with a guest card!), roomy and spotless accommodation with everything you need, a convection microwave (great for toast at breakfast), excellent sound insulation from the noisy main street when the windows are closed, and nice hosts. The only downsides were the balcony opening onto the neighboring apartments without a divider and the light‑permeable blackout curtains in the bedroom.
