“Good choice for views, location is spot on, good restaurants close by, Would stay here again.”

I chose this hotel and room because of the rooftop terrace and the balcony. The terrace offered a small view, a bar, and was a nice touch, while the balcony in our room was a real highlight—sitting there to watch traffic and people, and right across from ruins. Great location, truly awesome. The elevator was broken when we arrived, and climbing four flights was a lot when we were tired, but they helped carry our luggage up. It was fixed a few days later when we left. I expected breakfast to be served on the rooftop terrace, not in my room, which was a missed opportunity. The rooftop was lovely but the breakfast, even with a choice of options (two items per category), was mediocre at best, and on the second day, after two calls to the front desk, we still didn’t get what we ordered. “Overall, an excellent choice in Rome.”

Breakfast arrived on time and was larger than I’d imagined, with fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, cappuccino and plenty of hot water. The bed was super comfy, the decor was great, and the room was perfectly sound‑proof. The location puts you close to every attraction. On the downside, the elevator broke after the first night and we were stuck on the top floor, and the air conditioning didn’t obey the temperature setting.
