Hotel Capitol is located close to the University of Bucharest and Cismigiu Gardens in a lively and central area of the city, and features an on-site restaurant. The property was built in 1901 and kept the original décor after various renovations. Close to the hotel there are diverse dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities. The spacious and elegantly equipped rooms are air-conditioned and feature cable TV, free WiFi, a minibar, and a bathroom.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Capitol and can’t recommend it enough; the rooms were beautiful, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, the location was perfect in Bucharest’s center, and the breakfast offered a wide range of delicious, high‑quality choices. We’re especially grateful to Mădălin at reception, who went above and beyond to help when we mistakenly booked the wrong date; he handled the situation with professionalism, kindness, and efficiency, quickly changing our booking so we could check in smoothly, which was crucial since we were traveling with a young child. His help turned a potentially stressful situation into a wonderful experience, exemplifying outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel truly valued and well taken care of throughout our stay. Hotel Capitol will definitely be our first choice whenever we visit Bucharest, and a big thank you to the whole team, especially Mădălin, for making our visit unforgettable; you truly deserve more than five stars. Everything was perfect.
