“Hotel sucio, con falta de atención y servicio NO RECOMENDABLE”
The location is great if you want to be in the French Quarter near Bourbon Street, with bars and restaurants within walking distance; there is paid parking nearby, but that wasn't included in the rate. The cleaning was terrible and the staff were unhelpful. From day one, the hallway leading from the elevator to the room was littered with trash on the floor, and after reporting it at reception, it remained uncleaned for three days. The room was prepared on the first day, but on the second day the beds were not made and the room likely wasn’t vacuumed. We reported this to reception (they said the staff had already left and couldn’t attend to it), and on the second day they still didn’t fix it; we reported it again, but nothing changed and the manager was no longer there. Also, next to the trash can we had left a bag of garbage that was never taken away. The day before checkout we requested a meeting with the manager, but he never arrived. I wrote to him about my frustration with the poor service, cleaning, and overall lack of attention, asking for a small financial compensation for the neglect; after several days he finally responded with a lukewarm apology, but no refund. I followed up again, but after fifteen days he stopped replying.
